Kayla Arroy is a Colorado based, self-taught painter. Her work is inspired by the hardedge abstraction movement, focusing on the way color and shape interact in space. Her process is intuitive, exploratory, and responsive. She enjoys likening her work to visual diaries of personal meditations, physical representations of the conversations that happen between herself, the canvas, color, and form.
