Haley Hughes has a love for intricate and thoughtful floral design and illustration. Through the hours upon hours of sketching soft curvilinear petals and hand-cutting intricate paper artwork she is able to confront her rigid and organized way of thinking, allowing herself to make something soft and expressive. She delights in creating work that is connective and filled with inviting colors, pairing structured grids with her delicate floral cuts and illustrations — mirroring aspects of her own self and being.
